Chapter 25: Finishing (Note: I'm planning to fly Phase I in Primer)
I've decided to get started on some finishing work while still working on strakes because it's winter (Dec 2016), and I can use cold days for sanding between warmer days of making micro and spreading. It also gives me a diversion as I plan for finding a very small leak in the Right Strake Tank, and getting the strake leading edges just right. I know finishing is goiing to take a long time, so I'm starting the learning curve early. I received some great tips from Izzy Briggs by phone for this Chapter!
I'm using a different format for this Chapter by breaking it into sub pages according to the portion of the Cozy I'm doing finishing work on. This should hopefully keep the pages from being so long, while making it a little easier for a reader to probe the tree structure of the Chapter based Table of Pages to more easily find what they are interested in.
My plan is to use the following sub page structure for Chapter 25: Finishing, based roughly on the order that I think I'll be taking them on.
Canard
Interior
Fuselage and Landing Gear
Strakes
Wings/Winglets
Blending (wings to spar, wings to strake)
Misc
